You are a life changer. I walked into your doors a different person than I am now. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that in the last year and a half, I was promoted, got a raise, am looked at as a leader at work, instead of an adversary, am a better and more patient dad…pretty much a better dude all around. I’ve formed friendships for life. It’s amazing what a workout can do for you. It’s even more amazing how much the people you work out with change your life.

I like to think that I have become a student at the age of 49 of CrossFit. I have researched, read, watched and talked to as many CrossFitters as possible and tried to learn and put into practice the anatomy of this sport. I have also changed my way of eating. I am stronger than ever, able to squat, jump, and flex my knee in ways that I never thought I would be able to do again! I’m a living, knee-bending example of transformation.

I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and the doctor’s recommendation was taking 8 pills a day and a shot to lower my immune system every other week indefinitely. They made me take this blood test that predicts I’m in the 99th percentile for having complications for the rest of my life. Luckily I found Paleo eating and CrossFit. Now I am surrounded by like-minded people and feel the healthiest and strongest I’ve ever been. The medicine is exercising, food, and community.
